big apple bbq

I am sad, so sad, that I'm missing the BBQ this weekend.  Never mind that I just found out about it two seconds ago online.  Next year I'm making it a priority to head on over to Madison Square Park to take part in all the feasting.  IF you're a lucky participant, please tell me all about it!

    Thanks for mentioning this. I've got lots to do this weekend. But, IF I go, I'll let you know.

    I was just mentioning to my friend how I wanted to attend a BBQ with the real deal BBQers.

    heya Carmen, did you make it over there?

    i think we're going to try out some bbq for father's day. do you have any suggestions? we've been to blue smoke and r.u.b — i'm trying to persuade dh to go to brooklyn for fette sau. have you had that?

    No, I didn't make it to NY. But, I kept the info. I hope to go next time.

    I've only been to Brooklyn for Sweet Melissa and BAKED bakeries.

    yeah, i've only been to brooklyn thrice- once for Peter Luger's and and another for Baked (stopped by Fairway too!) and then to the Brooklyn Flea and a stop by Jacques Torres' store.
